Parents & Caregivers
If your child was referred to Fire Safe Futures because of fire-setting or fire-play behavior, know that this is not a punishment. Our program focuses on education, safety, emotional support, and practical tools for families. Most of all, it’s an opportunity to prevent future harm and help your child make safer choices.
What Happens After a Referral?

Steps:
-
Referral Received → Our team reviews your child’s situation.
-
Family Contact → A specialist reaches out to schedule an interview.
-
Interview & Assessment → Helps us understand risk level and needs.
-
FSF Academy Enrollment → You and your child attend a 2-day educational program.
5. Follow-Up Support → Resources, check-ins, and (when appropriate) mental health referrals.
